  1. It took about 2 years 11 months and 18 days to prepare the Constitution of India. The task of writingthe Indian Constitution was given to a draft committee headed by Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar.

  3. 2. There are two copies of the Indian Constitution, one in English and one in Hindi. Both copies of the Constitution of India are handwritten. 


  4. The Indian Constitution is the longest written in the world. It has 444 articles divided into 22 articles and 12 schedules. Recently, 118 amendments were added to the constitution. 
  5. On 24 January 1950, copies of the Indian handwritten constitution were signed by 308 assembly members. 
  6. The original copies of the Constitution of India are preserved in a helium-filled coffin in the Library of Parliament House.

LOHRI Lohri is celebrated each year on the 13th (thirteenth) of January, it's a festival to worship fire. Lohri day is celebrated with great pomp by lots of people in India. At this time, the Sun enters into an auspicious period of Uttarayan from Dakshinayan. First Lohri is very important for the spouse and the newborn babies because it marks fertility.
